History

Precision is a trademark of Gmeinder Lokomotivenfabrik GmbH. The House Gmeinder has delivered products of the highest quality for over 90 years and continues even today.

Gmeinder was founded in 1913 in Mosbach. Since 1921, the company is situated at today’s premises and has developed into a recognized company in the sector of engine building and refurbishment, as well as maintenance.
Since November 2007 the LBBW Venture Capital is a 100 % shareholder of the Gmeinder Lokomotivenfabrik GmbH.
