Diesel hydraulic locomotive D 75 BB - SE


Preface  
The four new developed locomotives D13, D14, D15 and D16 of the Zillertalbahn are diesel locomotives with hydraulic load transmission. They were exclusively developed for the shunting and distance service of the Zillertalbahn in public and goods transport.
The locomotives are compatible to the in-house railcars and control cars (push pull train suitable), goods wagons, roll cars and steam coaches. For the efficient shunting service, the locomotives are equipped with a digital train radio telecommunications system.
In the construction process, a focus was put on the expandability of the locomotives, such as pivoted bogie with standard gauge, if ever this is required.
In addition, there is the possibility to add a buffer and draw gear for the service of railroad coach carrier trucks.
The locomotives are equipped with a train power unit. Additionally to the electrical consumer loads above the loc, it also supplies the electric installations of the trailed passenger carriages.
